Disclaimer

  • For Rx only

Data Analysis Facilitation Suite (DAFS) is image processing software-only medical device that provides automatic 3D tissue segmentation, labeling, visualization, and quantitative characterization of CT images for specific target body tissues. Data output includes quantification of volume, cross-sectional area and radiodensity for muscle, fat, bone, internal organs and tissues, brain.

  • DAFS analyses CT images and automatically segments anatomical structures. Then, the area and volume of those structures are calculated and provided as output, along with a 3D representation of the relevant structures.

DAFS provides a comprehensive, streamlined user interface to allow clinical experts to validate and adjust the automatic segmentation, labelling and measurements. By using DAFS, it is possible to automatically obtain accurate values for the volume and morphology of each anatomical structures by secondary utilization of CT images obtained for various purposes in the medical field. The type of input data is DICOM format CT image data.

This device is intended to be used only in conjunction with professional clinical judgement. A clinical expert is responsible for inspecting and confirming all results.
