Computerized medicine has become an invaluable complement to modern medicine. Current techniques for deriving body composition measures from medical images require tedious manual segmentation or segmentation by thresholding, the latter of which often produces errors that require significant manual corrections. ABACS™ yields highly accurate body composition metrics and substitutes time-consuming manual segmentation with a highly efficient, fully-automated workflow that requires only minimal manual editing. 

ABACS™ version 1.0  automatically segments skeletal muscle (SM), subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT), visceral adipose tissue (VAT) and intramuscular adipose tissue (IMAT) at L3 and T4 axial slices with incredible accuracy.

ABACS is currently available as a module in our Data Analysis Facilitation Suite™.
